Putri menghadapi He di babak 32 besar Kejuaraan Dunia Bulutangkis 2023 di Royal Arena, Kopenhagen, Rabu (23/8) dini hari WIB. Sempat merebut gim pertama, Putri akhirnya kalah 21-18, 19-21, 17-21 dari wakil China itu.
Putri sempat kalah start di gim pertama. Tertinggal 6-13, Putri mengejar dengan merebut lima poin beruntun.
Putri akhirnya berbalik unggul 16-15. Sejak saat itu, Putri mampu mempertahankan keunggulannya dan memenangi gim pertama.

Putri mengawali gim kedua dengan lambat dan langsung tertinggal 1-12. Namun, putri perlahan mengejar dan merapatkan jarak. Dia akhirnya kalah tipis 19-21 di gim kedua.
Memasuki gim penentuan, Putri sempat unggul 4-1 di awal. Namun, He yang mampu mengejar kemudian merebut enam poin beruntun untuk berbalik unggul 10-5.
Sejak saat itu, Putri terus berada dalam posisi tertinggal. Meski sempat meraih lima poin beruntun saat He mencapai match point lebih dulu, Putri pada akhirnya tak mampu membendung unggulan kelima itu.
